Appearing nearly 1.2 billion years ago as small algae, the domain Eukarya now includes the most diverse lifeforms on the Earth. Eukaryotes, translated to "True Nucleus", are compartmentalized, structurally complex organisms with membrane-bound organelles and a nucleus containing DNA. Coming in both unicellular and multicellular forms, Eukaryotes truly represent the amazing diversification of life.
